Every morning I tell myself something good is going to happen.
(I admit, I’m hoping for something really good like a lottery win or news the divorce is finally final.)
Today I went to the beach. It was littered with starfish patiently waiting for the tide to come in. There were so many, I had to watch my step.
There were different types, colours, sizes… It was a briny galaxy.
I realized this was my good thing for the day, and it was enough.
They look like the sort of things that I would collect up and use in a bathroom display!

I think you can buy dried up starfish at some tourist stores just for that purpose.

My daughter brought one back from a holiday in Greece. I am pretty sure that it hadn’t completely dried out because the smell was dreadful!

My son once picked up a crab shell at the beach. I should’ve inspected it more closely before letting him put it in the car. It had a few bits of meat left on it, Ugh! It was gross!

And I love the different colours too of the wet pebbles.

Good things are always around us, if we stop and look. As the famous quote says ‘what is this life if full of care we have no time to stop and stare’ Hope you’re having a good weekend my blogging friend.

I’m finding it’s true that unless you look, you sometimes miss the good things. I had a super duper weekend! I hope yours was fab, too!

I’m finding that to be the case now that I’m more focused on the positive.
